<NEWLINE>
To get friendly with a Necrostalker, you need to satisfy it with the Necromancy. You need to be both wearing a
Necromancer's Hat and holding a Necromancer's Wand.
<NEWLINE>
Right-click with a Necromancer's Wand to shoot a magic ball. During the friending process, you must first make it stand
onto the Soul Carpet somehow, and attack it with the magic ball. You need 6 hits overall. After each hit, it will get much stronger,
and generates more smoke particles. This means it will be deadly if you're attacked by the Necrostalker after your several
magic ball hits.
<NEWLINE>
Note that hiding yourself behind blocks or escaping non-stop are not options. It's hit count will drop once it cannot
reach you for 10s. Shield-block the attack instead. If you're too far from the mob (>32 blocks away), the process will
be interrupted, and you'll have to restart from the beginning.
<NEWLINE>
After getting friendly, you still need either wearing a Necromancer's Hat or holding a Necromancer's Wand to make it
follow your commands. Otherwise, it won't follow you or attack your target, unless the favorability is above 90. To switch
its AI or open its GUI, you also need a Necromancer's Wand instead of a Commanding Wand.
<NEWLINE>
The Necrostalker's hand items can be customized, and only receive hoes as weapon. You can also put other items onto the
off-hand but without any effects. Its attack damage will be boosted depending on the quality of the hoes. If the main hand hoe
has a Fortune enchantment, killing mobs will drop more items as if it had a Looting enchantment. Also, it has 4 Bauble slots.
<NEWLINE>
Like most undead mobs, the Necrostalker can be healed with the Soul Powder and Soul Apple.
<NEWLINE>
The Necromancer's Hat's defense are the same as the Leather Hat, but also gives you Strength II and Haste II effects,
as well as the Curse of Necromancy. The curse effect will slowly damage you, and the damage bypasses vanilla damage reducing
mechanics. Standing on the Soul Carpet will prevent you from getting cursed. If your Necrostalkers are nearby when you're
wearing the hat, they will give you the Regeneration effect, and the effect level depends on the amount of Necrostalkers
(III at most).
<NEWLINE>
The magic ball from the Necromancer's Wand can also damage mobs. When a magic ball hits a block
or mob, it will burst and give Wither effect to mobs nearby. The Wither effect will be even stronger if the mob is directly
hit by the magic ball. Your own Necrostalker will not take Wither but get healed and Strength effect. The Necromancer's Wand
can be repaired on the Anvil with Death Crystal Powder.
